Pyrocontrole becomes a partner of the RJH* International Research Reactor Project

Built at the CEA (French Nuclear Authority) centre at Cadarache in the south of France, the Jules Horowitz Reactor, mainly dedicated to research for the electronuclear industry and nuclear medicine, will be equipped with Pyrocontrole temperature sensors. Chosen for their reliability and rugged design, the various pools in the RJH* will be equipped with around forty temperature sensors.
Long-standing, widely-acknowledged know-how
Right from the start of nuclear development in France in the 1970s, Pyrocontrole succeeded in demonstrating and developing temperature sensors with performance constantly boosted by the latest technological advances for the major players in the nuclear industry.
Over the ensuing years, as a partner for both decision-makers and end-users, Pyrocontrole has designed and developed a specific offering of temperature sensors qualified as K1, K2, K3 and NC according to RCC-E**.

In every domestic or industrial installation, connection to an earth electrode is one of the basic rules to ensure that the electrical network is safe.
The absence of an earth connection can endanger people's lives and cause damage to electrical installations and other property. On its own, however, it is not enough to guarantee total safety. Only regular tests can prove that the electrical installation is operating correctly.
There are many earth measurement methods available, depending on the type of neutral system, the type of installation (domestic, industrial, urban, rural, etc), the possibility of cutting off the power to the installation, etc.

This sensor can be used to check the temperatures of the bearings on industrial rotating machines. It can be installed at the heart of pumps, motors, gear motors, grinding mills, centrifuges, electrical generator sets, turbines and alternators. In this way, it prevents any overheating due to poor lubrication, which could lead to damage and halt the process!
Equipped with a connection unit fixed to the frame of the rotating machine, this oil-tight multipoint sensor can be used to measure bearing temperatures inside the machines.
