MANUMESURE offers its know-how to quantify industries' impact on the environment.
Controlling their environmental impacts has become a major issue for industrial companies in order to reduce their ecological footprint, their energy consumption and their consumption of raw materials, while also improving their competitiveness.
MANUMESURE has been developing its expertise in environmental measurements concerning air, noise and water (waste water, rain water and underground water) for nearly 25 years.
Measurement of air quality
MANUMESURE works on site to test atmospheric emissions, with COFRAC Tests accreditation.
- Measurement of gases: O2, CO2, CO, NOx, COV, CH4, etc.
- Measurement of dust, PM10 & PM 2.5, etc.
- Measurement of metals, HF, HCl, SO, NH3, N2O, etc.
- Measurement of PCDD & PCDF, PAHs, etc.
MANUMESURE also provides verification of the "QAL2 and AST" measurement lines with COFRAC Tests accreditation.
In addition, MANUMESURE performs measurements of diffuse atmospheric deposition around sites.
Dust, dioxin, VOCs, benzene or any other molecule on request.
Measurement of noise levels
Manumesure performs regulatory noise-level testing on environmentally-sensitive installations.
The impact of the noise generated by an industry may disturb the neighbourhood and lead to conflict. Noise-level assessment is a regulatory requirement for environmentally-sensitive installations in France and in many other countries.
The regulations impose measurements at the property lines of sites and in regulated emergence zones (near housing).
Measurement of water quality
MANUMESURE performs on-site sampling in order to analyse water quality (waste water, rain water and underground water).
Water is an essential natural resource for living creatures and for human and economic activities, so it must be protected.
The regulations oblige industrial companies to monitor the quality of their water.

Metrology, regulatory testing and industrial maintenance
MANUMESURE is the Chauvin Arnoux Group company specialized in metrology and regulatory testing.
It performs metrological verification, maintenance and management for fleets of measuring, inspection and test instruments in its laboratories or on customers' sites. The company also offers regulatory testing covering environmental issues (atmospheric pollutant emissions, noise, etc.), personal safety (inspection of electrical installations, etc.) and hazard prevention (thermography, etc.)
MANUMESURE has structured its service offering on three major market segments: Industry, the Environment and Health.
With 12 technical centres in France and a team of travelling experts, the company provides full national coverage, thus guaranteeing a quick response wherever customers need it.

Management of fleets of measuring instruments
Manumesure provides computerized management and maintenance of your fleet of measuring instruments, in accordance with the ISO 9001 requirements, whatever the type and brand of instrumentation.
Verification and calibration of measuring instruments
Manumesure offers you a unique partnership to verify and calibrate your fleet of measuring instruments.
Two types of documents are provided, depending on your requirements:
- "FDX 07.011" verification certificate
- "FDX 07.012" calibration certificate
COFRAC calibration in laboratories
Manumesure possesses COFRAC-accredited "Calibration" laboratories for the following quantities: Electricity & Magnetism, Time & Frequency, Dimensions, Temperature, Pressure and Micropipettes.

Safety inspection with infrared thermography
Manumesure offers inspection services using infrared thermography: display of load unbalance, detection of abnormal hot spots or bad connections in an electrical cabinet, etc.
MANUMESURE's operators are "APSAD"-certified by CNPP (French national centre for prevention and protection), as per reference document D19.

Chauvin Arnoux, a long-term partner of the Education sector
Taking advantage of its close, privileged relationship with the French National Education system, the Chauvin Arnoux Group accompanies the actors in the education system by taking part in a large number of events, by publishing the "Cahiers de l'Instrumentation", a review specially designed for teachers, and by offering measuring instruments which are ideal for teaching.
Every year, the Chauvin Arnoux Group partners and sponsors a large number of events linked to the education sector and designed to promote technical and scientific training by loaning measuring instruments, participating in judging panels and providing prizes.
The "Club du Mesurage" (Measurement Club): a pool of skills
A strong, long-term commitment!
In 2000, Chauvin Arnoux set up the "Club du Mesurage", a veritable think tank on "School/Company" issues in order to create a constant flow of information concerning the evolution of the standards, the new market requirements, applications, particularly new ones, etc.
Open to all member of the Education sector, this Club fosters genuine debate, while also creating a pool of skills between two communities which share two objectives:
-Mastery of measuring techniques in order to understand and explain them better,
-Advance information on any changes so that, when students start work, they can be operational more quickly.
One of the Group's major goals is to keep up to date with the changes to the curricula and educational reforms, such as the creation in France of the STI2D Baccalaureate (Science and Technologies of Industry and Sustainable Development) in 2011, so that it can design the measuring instruments required for the professions of tomorrow.
In 2000, the foundation of the "Club du Mesurage" brought together School Inspectors from Paris and the French regions and Chauvin Arnoux staff members, under the aegis of the General Inspector for Science and Industrial Techniques in the French National Education System. The club meets annually and an editorial board decides on the content of Chauvin Arnoux's magazine for the educational sector, Les Cahiers de l’Instrumentation.
A collection of practical exercises: Les Cahiers de l'Instrumentation
Les Cahiers de l'instrumentation is a magazine containing practical exercises for teachers and their students which present solutions or case studies involving the use of measurement, res or energy management instruments in concrete situations.
The first issue was published in 2000 , with a new issue planned every year. Dedicated to secondary and higher scientific and technical education and designed by teachers and school inspectors, Les Cahiers de l’Instrumentation enables teachers and their students to become familiar with the scientific processes and instruments on the market. The funding and graphic design for the magazine are provided by the Chauvin Arnoux Group which also sends it free of charge to any teachers wishing to receive it. This publication is only available in French.
