1996 : Our company was established in April 1996. The staff was composed mainly of experienced employees of Norma, the biggest Austrian company for test & measurement. Therefore, a powerful sales and an experienced development team was there at the very beginning. This motivated team entered the Austrian and Hungarian market very quickly.

1998 : The installation tester C.A 6115 is launched. With the patented measuring methods for testing the loop impedance without tripping the RCD and simple report creation, it becomes one of the most successful selling products of Chauvin Arnoux in Austria.

2006 : Chauvin Arnoux Austria becomes a 100% subsidiary of the Chauvin Arnoux Group.

2007 : C+D Automatika in Budapest becomes sole agency for Chauvin Arnoux in Hungary.

2007 : With the CA 6472 and CA 6474 Pylon Box with measuring frequencies from 41 Hz to 5 kHz Chauvin Arnoux brings a unique portable measuring system on the market, which is for testing the earthing of pylons without having to disconnect the earth wire. We define the "state of the art" in this area since then.

2008 : The company moves to new, larger and more representative office.

2008 : Since 2008 we also offer educational materials of Leybold, a leading global German manufacturer of high-quality scientific and technical training systems because most schools and universities are part of the same group of customers which we already served with Chauvin Arnoux products.

2011 : We are expanding our product portfolio with the first portable 15 kV insulation tester CA 6555 of the world.

Today : Currently the Chauvin Arnoux Gesmbh has more than 10 employees. High-quality measuring instruments and personal consultation in sales and service for Austrian and Hungarian customers are very important to us.

The CA  service center in Vienna is an effective organization that allows you to keep your measurement’s solutions in operational condition. With our well-equipped electronics lab, we are able to do the majority of all service cases directly in Vienna! Please print out the services card and place it filled with the unit.

Metrological verification
In order to keep your instrument in its origins specifications, we recommend metrological testing once a year, or more depending on your own internal procedures. Please specify whether you want a standard calibration or a calibration traceable to national standards.

Unsere Firma wurde im April 1996 gegründet. Die Belegschaft bestand hauptsächlich aus erfahrenen Mitarbeitern von Norma, dem größten österreichischen Unternehmen für Test & Messung. Daher war am Anfang ein starker Vertrieb und ein erfahrenes Entwicklungsteam vorhanden.
Dieses motivierte Team trat sehr schnell in den österreichischen und ungarischen Markt ein. Der neu entwickelte Installationstester CA 6115 erreichte eine Lebensdauer von mehr als 13 Jahren und war eines der erfolgreichsten Produkte von Chauvin Arnoux. In der Zwischenzeit hat das Entwicklungsteam erfolgreichere Produkte im Bereich Isolationsprüfungen und Bodenmessungen fertiggestellt, und die Marke Chauvin Arnoux hat durch das technisch versierte und problemlösende Verkaufsteam einen guten Namen erhalten.

Unser Ziel war es, das Potenzial unseres Entwicklungsteams für unsere Kunden verfügbar zu machen und Informationen über neue Produkte und Methoden zu sammeln. Eine wichtige Unterstützung ist unser Seminarprogramm, das im Bereich Stromqualität, Gerätetests, Sicherheit elektrischer Anlagen und Bodenmessung den aktuellen Stand der Technik vermittelt.

Seit 2008 bieten wir auch Lehrmaterialien von Leybold an, einem weltweit führenden deutschen Hersteller hochwertiger wissenschaftlicher und technischer Ausbildungssysteme, da die meisten Schulen und Universitäten zu derselben Kundengruppe gehören, die wir bereits mit Chauvin Arnoux-Produkten bedient haben.
