Power Quality
The quality of the distributed electrical power is a crucial technical characteristic for ensuring the nominal operation of an electrical installation. Measuring it involves determining the presence of disturbances and abnormal events in voltages, currents, and frequencies. The source of these electrical anomalies may be related either to the consumption segment (the distribution system or electrical loads on the consumer side) or to the supply segment.
The consequences of deteriorating power quality can include production losses or shutdowns, as well as increased energy costs due to consumption patterns.
Chauvin Arnoux network and power analyzers measure all voltage and current parameters and enable a diagnosis of power quality. These devices allow for the simultaneous acquisition and recording of all transient parameters, alarms, and waveforms, which are then analyzed using the DataView® software.
This makes it easy to verify compliance with standard templates.
