CA 1550 Firmware v4.28

To update your product, please first check your firmware version by holding down the following two buttons: the centre button and the MEM/REC button.

If your product has a 4.xx version, please download the 4.xx firmware.

To update your product:

• Once you have downloaded the .bin file from our website that matches your product’s model number, hold down the MEM button and then switch on the device by pressing the ON/OFF button. The device will display ‘BOOT’.
• Release the buttons and the device will display ‘COPY’, indicating that it is ready to receive the new firmware.
• Connect the device to your PC using the USB cable supplied.
• Copy the .bin file onto the device, as you would with a USB stick.
• Once the copy is complete, press the MEM button and the device will display ‘LOAD’, indicating that the firmware is being installed.
• When the installation is complete, the device will display ‘PASS’ or ‘FAIL’ depending on whether it was successful or not. If it fails, download the firmware again and repeat the procedure.
• The device will then restart normally.

PLEASE NOTE: After updating the firmware, you will need to update the Bluetooth module.
