Can the orientation of the electric field be measured with a C.A 42 ?

The C.A 42 LF field meter provides the components according to 3 orthogonal axes "X, Y & Z" so that, by orienting the probe slightly to seek a maximum on one of these three axes, you can determine the orientation of an electric field.
