The CA 6683 LOCAT is an essential tool for all maintenance, renovation or home improvement work.
Easy to use, it allows you to quickly locate an electrical cable, metal water or heating pipe in walls or floors.
On live or dead electrical installations, it identifies sockets, switches, circuit breakers or fuses connected to the circuit. In the event of a fault, it allows you to locate the location of a short circuit, a break or a disconnection.


The CA 6683 LOCAT is a set consisting of a transmitter and a receiver , each with a large, clear backlit display and automatic transmission power/detection sensitivity adjustment for simple and intuitive use.


If voltage is present, the transmitter alerts you to the danger and displays its value.
The signal emitted is digitally coded to prevent interference, and its power can be adjusted manually to refine detection.
In complex cases, the identification code configuration allows up to 7 transmitters to be used together.

The receiver is equipped with an integrated torch, a silent mode and automatic or manually adjustable sensitivity for better selectivity to adapt to all situations on the construction site.
The receiver can be used alone to locate a live conductor connected to the active conductor (phase) of the electricity distribution network.
