Rugged and waterproof, the CA 6422 earth tester is ideal for intensive use in the field. This tester can be used for 2P and 3P earth measurements. The connections are clearly identified with text markings and colour coding. All the measurements and functions are directly accessible on the instrument's front panel, even when you are wearing gloves.
The CA 6422 is equipped with a backlit LCD screen which is particularly easy to read. A LED indicates when a hazardous voltage is present, while the NOISE symbol flashes to indicate when a noise voltage is present.

Download the latest version of the firmware (v1.12) for the CA 6422 and CA 6424 to benefit from all the latest improvements.
Below are the steps for connecting the device to your PC:
- Unzip the file,
- Connect the instrument to your PC,
- Run the .exe file,
- A pop-up window will open,
- The first line will display the instrument; click on the “Program” icon.
Please find the new firmware attached.
Please note: as the CA 6422 and CA 6424 are non-communicating devices, the instruction “connect the instrument to the PC” is therefore a shortcut and requires equipment not supplied as standard with the product.
