The C.A 1875 training bench has been specially designed for teaching. It comprises a heating plate and several targets made of different materials and with different surface finishes, as well as test screens which are fixed on the front of the bench using magnets. The aim of this kit is to highlight the main causes of errors encountered when measuring with a thermographic camera:
- Influence of materials' emissivity
- Influence of positioning
- Reflection and transmission
- Spatial resolution
- A guide with practical exercises which also explains the corresponding theoretical basis is supplied with the training bench.
