This tutorial explains how to use the FTV500 photovoltaic analyser to carry out insulation resistance measurements on a photovoltaic system or module.

To comply with legislation, a photovoltaic system must meet certain basic parameters, namely the insulation resistance (Riso). Read this tutorial to find out how to carry out an insulation resistance measurement in accordance with current standards. Here, the FTV500 multifunction analyser is used in conjunction with, amongst other things, a megohmmeter.
