Each sensor is adapted to the environment measured: for the high temperatures and extreme conditions involved in the metal, iron and steel industries. Depending on the temperature range, K, S, R or B thermocouples are used. Metallic, ceramic or composite protectors improve the reliability and life span of pyrometer assemblies.
